The First Six Fallout 76 Survival Mode Legendary Weapon Rewards

The Fallout 76 Survival Mode Beta is due to launch on the 26th of March, bringing a whole new way to play Fallout 76. One of the major new features coming in Survival Mode are new weekly challenges. According to Bethesda, these will be more difficult than the weekly challenges which players are used to. Each weekly challenge in Survival Mode will feature its own unique reward; all of which will be Fallout 76 Legendary Weapons. As part of their preview of the upcoming mode, Bethesda today revealed the first six of these upcoming reward weapons.

Fallout 76 Survival Mode Weekly Challenge Legendary Weapon Rewards

Week 1: Crushing Blow (March 26th – April 1st)

Fallout 76 Legendary Weapons Crushing Blow

The first of the Fallout 76 Legendary Weapons to become available once the Fallout 76 Survival Mode Beta goes live, the Crushing Blow is a powerful M79 Grenade Launcher. It comes with fairly standard components, but also two very impressive bonuses; +50% limb damage, and double damage if a target is at full health.

Week 2: Medical Malpractice (April 2nd – April 8th)

Fallout 76 Legendary Weapons Medical Malpractice

The second weekly challenge reward is Medical Malpractice, a strange but rather useful-looking .44 Pistol. This weapon comes with components like a Hair Trigger Receiver, True Grip, Reflex Sight, and more, but its selling point is its special abilities. The weapon has a 25% reduction in cost for V.A.T.S. Action Points, and also a +33% V.A.T.S. hit chance. Best of all, any V.A.T.S. crits you score will actually heal you and all the players in your group!

Week 3: Sole Survivor (April 9th – April 15th)

Fallout 76 Legendary Weapons Sole Survivor

Coming in the second week of April, the Sole Survivor is a Lever Action Rifle which is well-suited to the PvP environment of the Fallout 76 Survival Mode. Featuring a Calibrated Receiver, Stabilised Long Barrel, Forceful Stock, Suppressor, and Night Vision Scope, this is a true assassin’s rifle. Best of all, it deals +10% damage while aiming and an extra +10% damage to other players. Finally, it also grants you +50 Damage Resistance when you’re aiming, making it harder for your victims to retaliate.

Week 4: The Guarantee (April 16th – April 22nd)

Fallout 76 Legendary Weapons The Guarantee

The most explosive of the Fallout 76 Legendary Weapons in the first six weeks, The Guarantee is a powerful custom Fatman. Featuring a MIRV Launcher, The Guarantee has similar abilities to the Crushing Blow; it deals +50% limb damage and double damage if a target is at full health. To make it just a bit better, however, it also has 15% faster reload.

Week 5: The Action Hero (April 23rd – April 29th)

Fallout 76 Legendary Weapons The Action Hero

Following The Guarantee, the list of Legendary Weapons goes from explosive power to fire rate. The Action Hero is a .50 Cal which can lay waste to unsuspecting enemies, be they Feral Ghouls, Super Mutants, or rival players. With 25% faster fire rate and 15% faster reload, you can be sure to lay down a withering hail of bullets. To make matters worse, the weapon actually shoots an additional projectile as well!

Week 6: The Quick Fix (April 30th – May 6th)

Fallout 76 Legendary Weapons The Quick Fix

The final weapon on the list, which also coincides with the end of Wild Appalachia, The Quick Fix is the only melee weapon on the list, and clearly designed for raving chem addicts. This Switchblade has a Serrated Blade and a variety of special benefits. It grants its wielder +1 Endurance, for example, and has a huge 40% faster swing speed buff. Most interesting, however, is that the weapon deals more damage the more chem withdrawal effects you’re currently suffering from.
