Stardew Valley Releases for iPhone

Stardew Valley for iPhone is officially here, and boy, are we excited for all the iOS players out there. Stardew Valley is pretty much on every platform known to man, well apart from Android. Now that it is on the iPhone however? Now you can farm and smooch people on the go.

It was revealed by Chucklefish’ official Twitter account that the game would be heading to iOS. But don’t worry Android players, you won’t be left behind. As expressed in our previous article, “the Secret Police are currently working on” it.

What’s more, the good news doesn’t stop there. If you’ve got Stardew Valley on your PC and are feeling squeamish about starting again – you won’t have to. PC players can transfer their save data to the iOS version via iTunes. Though, make sure you back up your save first.

Stardew Valley: On The Move and How It Began

Stardew Valley was first released on the PC during 2016, a time where everything at least seemed much simpler. The creator behind this soon-to-be-groundbreaking game was none other than Eric Barone, also known as ConcernedApe. Ever since it released, the game has done well. But that hasn’t meant Barone has grown idle. On the contrary, he and Chucklefish have added new features to keep it fresh.

One of these features is multiplayer, which is sadly the only component Stardew Valley iOS lacks. Regardless, the dedication both developer and publisher have shown to this simple farming game is incredible, and we have no doubt that people on iPhone will fall in love with it too.

In other Stardew Valley news, the last we heard about multiplayer for the Nintendo Switch was earlier this month. According to Eurogamer, the multiplayer for Switch is now complete and is just in need of testing. Hopefully, it’ll be out sooner, rather than later.
