Tales of 23rd Anniversary Broadcast is Coming in December

Tales fans, it’s time to celebrate. While there is already reason to rejoice with Tales of Vesperia coming out next year, there is more good news. A Tales of 23rd anniversary broadcast will be happening this upcoming December 8th. Now take a deep breath, and proceed to scream in joy. Or that’s what I assume may happen if you’re a Tales fan that’s eager to hear more about the series future that doesn’t revolve around a mobile game. Sorry Tales of Crestoria.

This news comes courtesy of Gematsu, who also gives information on what time the anniversary broadcast will start. The Tales of Room 2018 (the name of the anniversary broadcast) will broadcast on December 8th from 20:00 to 22:00 JST. This is 11am – 1pm for the UK, and 6am – 8am for EST, US.

Tales fans all over the world will be excited to see what is coming next for the series, but what the broadcast actually show? Thankfully, Gematsu answered that question too.

Tales of 23rd Anniversary: What To Expect

Much like the Tales of Festivals, fans should expect some familiar faces (and voices) to be appearing in the broadcast. The voice actors confirmed to be making an appearance are:

  • Katsuyuki Konishi (Lloyd Irving in Tales of Symphonia)
  • Rika Morinaga (Rita in Tales of Vesperia)
  • Eiji Takemoto (Raven in Tales of Vesperia)
  • Haruka Terui (Mileena Weiss in Tales of the Rays)
  • Kouhei Amasaki (Kanata Hjuger in Tales of Crestoria)

Gematsu also provided us with an overview of the event.

“On December 15, 2018, the Tales of series that began with the release of Tales of Phantasia on December 15, 1995. It will celebrate its 23rd anniversary thanks to the long-standing support of its fans. The “Tales Room 2018″ web broadcast that celebrates the Tales of series’ anniversary will welcome the 23rd anniversary together with the series’ voice actors and fans.”

While that alone sounds fascinating, the quote “also, we will deliver the latest information from several contents currently in development,” is enough to wet the appetite of any Tales fan out there.
