Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season demo is out right now for players on PS4 and Xbox One to download for absolutely free. This demo allows users to experience the first 15 minutes of Clementine’s final journey firsthand before the full game launches next month on August 14, 2018. It is currently unknown if the choices and save will carry over to the full release.
Sorry, PC gamers, but it seems that this The Walking Dead: The Final Season demo isn’t coming to computers just yet as the announcement only confirmed the demo for the PS4 and Xbox One platforms. The demo offers players a chance to check out The Final Season’s brand new combat, camera system, and signature comic art style that will be in the full release.
Even if you can’t pick up the demo and try it for yourself, you won’t have to wait much longer for Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season. The Final Season is the fourth season that has starred original protagonist Clementine in this wholly unique video game adaptation of the popular comic book zombie series from Robert Kirkman.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season will be the final story for Clementine and close the book on her tale that began in the first season way back in 2012 on the previous generation of consoles. The Final Season will be composed of four episodes with the season premiere launching on August 14, 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season will also be releasing on Nintendo Switch later this year. Players can pre-order Clementine’s fourth and final season right now on Xbox One and PS4 for $19.99 USD. The pre-order all nets you all 19 previous episodes from Telltale’s zombie adventure series. Pre-orders on PC through various retailers like Steam will instead offer a 10 percent discount until launch. For more zombie action, check out Black Ops 4’s Zombies mode.
