The Game Awards Announces Nominees for 2020 Game of the Year

The Game Awards, the biggest gaming industry annual awards show, has officially announced the nominees for its 2020 Game of the Year award. The awards show itself is coming up in early December, and ahead of that date, fans can vote for their preferred choices on the award show’s website.

Earlier today, Geoff Keighley, the founder of The Game Awards, announced this year’s Game of the Year picks on social media. This year, the nominees run the gamut across consoles and genres, ranging from Animal Crossing: New Horizons to The Last of Us Part II. The award winner will be announced live during the 2020 Game Awards show on the 10th of December. Ahead of that broadcast, gaming fans have the chance to cast their votes for the awards, including Game of the Year. The full list of nominees for Game of the Year is as follows:
