The Next Elder Scrolls: Online DLCs Will be Scalebreaker and Dragonhold

Elsweyr, the latest Elder Scrolls: Online DLC, is now available in-game following its release just prior to E3. That release, the third Chapter DLC for Elder Scrolls: Online, was also the second of four planned DLC releases which form the year-long Season of the Dragon event. ZeniMax Online Studios has now revealed the names and some more information of the final two, due out later this year; Scalebreaker and Dragonhold.

Upcoming Elder Scrolls: Online DLC – Scalebreaker and Dragonhold

The Season of the Dragon is a major year-long event announced by ZeniMax at the start of 2019, together with the announcement of the Elsweyr DLC. The Season began with the release of Wrathstone, a dungeon pack DLC. Now that Elsweyr is out, ZeniMax has named the other two DLC releases which will complete the Season of the Dragon. These will also complete the story which began in Wrathstone and was expanded upon significantly in Elsweyr, centring on the return of the dragons.

The first of the two upcoming DLCs will be Scalebreaker, which will be released at some point during Q3 2019. This pack will include two new group dungeons; the Lair of Maarselok and Moongrave Fane. “Both of these challenging new dungeons are part of the Season of the Dragon storyline,” says ZeniMax; “pitting you and your team against Dragons like the ones you faced in Elsweyr. However, not all want to destroy the legendary beasts, and the Halls of Colossus was not the only place that held dragons.”

Towards the end of 2019, ZeniMax will be releasing the fourth DLC, Dragonhold. This release will be the conclusion of the Season of the Dragon storyline. According to ZeniMax, it will add an entire new zone for players to explore in southern Elsweyr, called Pellitine. In this region, players will rally allies like Sai Sahan to reform the Dragonguard; an order devoted to combating the dragons. Dragonhold will bring new quests, World Bosses, Dragon Hunts, and more.
