The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt & More Now Available on GeForce NOW

Xbox Game Pass recently bade farewell to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, as the game left the service after an extended period of availability. Now, the title has arrived on another gaming subscription service – GeForce NOW – along with a selection of other CD Projekt Red games.

CDPR Games Now Available on GeForce NOW

This Thursday, GeForce NOW announced that the service was adding several more games from GOG, CD Projekt’s own online gaming store. At the head of the list was The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition, CD Projekt Red’s critically-acclaimed RPG. Until now, the only game from the developer available on GeForce Now has been Cyberpunk 2077. According to GeForce NOW, the platform has been working with CD Projekt since the launch of Cyberpunk to get more of their games on their library.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is just the first of the new games, however. GeForce NOW users can also access a further three titles from the Polish developer, including; The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition & The Witcher Adventure Game. Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, the narrative GWENT spin-off, is the fourth and final new addition. All titles were introduced via support from GOG.com. The four games comprised just under half of a new batch of titles which arrived on Thursday. The other new games which are now available on GeForce NOW are as follows; Stronghold: Warlords, Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 4, Uno, and Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic.

At present, there’s no indication if or when The Witcher 3 might return to Xbox Game Pass. However, it’s common for games to come to that service for extended periods of time, rather than as permanent additions. Its arrival on GeForce NOW just two weeks later is likely to be coincidental rather than a sign of competition. Whatever the case, the game should be available on GeForce’s subscription service for the foreseeable future.
