Titans Star Derrick Henry Joins Old Spice NFL Roster With ‘Unstoppable’ Video Game-Style Ad

Tennessee Titans halfback Derrick Henry has been appearing in the Madden video games for several installments as a playable star. He now is officially appearing in his own video game ad. The Titans star running back is the latest NFL star to join the Old Spice NFL roster for their appropriately-titled “Unstoppable” campaign. Fans can now see the star’s debut in his new commercial ahead of the unveiling during a nationally-televised football game.

Derrick Henry appears in video game mode for Old Spice “Unstoppable” ad

Tuesday marks the online debut of brand new Old Spice star Derrick Henry in the “Unstoppable” ad. In a commercial that has a similar look to EA’s Madden or other football video games, Henry and the Titans are on the field against the LA Rams. The Titans’ running back gets the ball on a handoff and does what he does best.

The “Unstoppable” Derick Henry pushes his way through Rams defenders, dragging several players with him on the field. He powers up along the way with Triple Protection Old Spice Sweat Defense as he continues running out of the arena and into the Los Angeles streets.

The video game-style ad features Henry continuing an epic run, all while his “Sweat Blocking Defense” rating stays at full power. The Titans star is able to display his unstoppable nature even off the field as he’s shown interacting with fans and even reading books on a treadmill to learn about his interests.

The ad supports the Old Spice Sweat Defense campaign. The company currently provides the “Official Sweat Defense of the NFL” and is found in each of the 32 NFL locker rooms. Henry becomes the latest to join their roster of NFL stars, joining the Denver Broncos’ Von Miller who also appeared in Old Spice ads.

Henry continuing to show he’s unstoppable

Titans fans, and most NFL fans, are familiar with Derrick Henry’s impressive skills on the field. Just last weekend, he took off for a 94-yard run in a game against the Houston Texans. For the season, he leads all players with 663 total rushing yards. His performance in Week 6 led to an upgraded player item for the Madden Team of the Week promotion.

Those who play EA’s Madden game know that Derrick Henry is typically amongst the top backs in the game. As of this report, he’s the second-highest in terms of halfback ratings at 94, trailing only the Carolina Panthers’ Christian McCaffrey. That overall rating arrives as the Titans star received a recent boost, climbing a bit closer to the top spot.

Henry is the latest Old Spice NFL star who is as “unstoppable” off the field as he is on it. He left the University of Alabama early to become a pro football star. However, two years into his NFL career he officially graduated, fulfilling a promise to his grandmother.

He’s also helping youth reach their unstoppable potential. Henry has the Two All Foundation as a way to do that, showing his off-field philanthropy and charitable nature.

His new Old Spice Unstoppable ad will officially arrive during the Tennessee Titans’ nationally-televised game against the Indianapolis Colts. That matchup is currently slated for Thursday, November 11. Meanwhile, fans can simulate Henry’s unstoppable performances virtually with Madden 21.
