There is a huge new update coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 very soon. And when we say soon, we mean this week. As part of that huge winter update this week, there will be a new Specialist for players to check out named Zero. The Black Ops 4 Zero Specialist will the first post-launch Specialist added to both the regular multiplayer and Blackout modes.
News of the Black Ops 4 Zero Specialist comes right after teases last week from the developer. We weren’t sure if the new character would be a returning one or someone brand new but now we know. Zero is a brand new Specialist never seen before in the Call of Duty games. She is a “versatile and deadly hacker” who will be playable in both multiplayer and Blackout on the same day.
Black Ops 4 Zero Details
Though her Blackout incarnation is just cosmetic, we do have some details on her abilities in multiplayer. The Black Ops 4 Zero Specialist will use her hacking abilities to disrupt foes as was teased last week. Thankfully, you won’t have to pay for any extra DLC or expansions in order to gain access to Zero.
The Black Ops 4 Zero Specialist can be unlocked through normal means for all players on all platforms. All you need to do to unlock her in multiplayer is to complete the tier one of the new Black Market; think season pass. That is a pretty simple task to do, especially for players who already have experience with the Black Market.
The Black Ops 4 Zero Specialist will become available for players to unlock starting tomorrow, December 11, on PS4. Xbox One and PC players will have to wait a little bit but will be able to unlock her soon after. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the full patch notes for this update.
