Treyarch Is Working On Fixing Black Ops 4 Servers Issues

Over the past few days, players have noticed that Black Ops 4 servers weren’t performing as well as expected. That raised questions so to if the game will be optimized at some point. Luckily, Treyarch is working on fixing the issues as we speak but it might take some time before getting there.

Although we can’t say that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is an unpolished multiplayer game, it sure has its issues. Fans have figured out that the Black Ops 4 servers have been downgraded from  60hz in its Beta to now 20hz. This clearly made players anxious about their stability. Treyarch has already addressed the issue.

We’ve also noticed a lot of discussion around network performance over the past couple of days and wanted to take a moment to address this directly. We’re constantly working to optimize the game, and particularly network performance, to ensure the highest quality online experience for our players. For a game launch with as massive a population as ours hitting so many global servers at once, we configure our infrastructure to ensure game stability as the highest priority over all other factors.

It’s natural to take some time for the Black Ops 4 servers stability to be back to normal. In addition, there’s many different reasons as to why this is happening so we all have to be patient. The fact that Treyarch was so open about their moves from the start is a good indication for the future.

If you are worrying about the length of this process, fear not. No optimization fixes will take more than a couple of weeks. Given the fact that the game is still new, it will take some time for it to happen. We’ll keep you posted as to when the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 servers are working as initially expected.
