Despite the overwhelming success and popularity of Apex Legends, players are already looking to the future. Some players are, in fact, already beginning to wonder if there will be an Apex Legends new map. And if there is going to be a new map, when we can expect it to release? We’re talking about a brand new map or changes to the current map known as King’s Canyon.

Apex Legends New Map
First and foremost, will there ever be a new map? Well, developer Respawn has officially left it hanging. In the FAQ for the game, it says that the team is focusing on the current map of King’s Canyon but it may introduce “new maps” in the future. This basically leaves it hanging but it does tell us a couple of things regardless.
For one, the possibility is there for sure. The other thing is that it is likely that Respawn won’t follow the Fortnite trend and reuse the same map but, instead, make all new maps. This is further strengthened by the fact that the first map, King’s Canyon, has a name, unlike Fortnite’s island.
PUBG, for instance, has names for all of its maps because it has more than one map. If you were to ask our opinion, we do think an Apex Legends new map will come. But we don’t expect it until the end of this year at the earliest based on what the developer’s quote.
