Wargaming was present during Gamescom 2018 and announced exciting new upcoming projects they are bringing to World of Tanks. The most impressive game involving tanks will be coming to VR soon, and it is going to be very cool. Wargaming is currently developing the VR experience for World of Tanks, but there is already a demo where you can see what it will be like.
The VR experience is currently one of the most exciting technologies in the world of games. When we heard about the upcoming World of Tanks VR, we were left breathless due to the excitement. But first, have a look for yourselves and see what we are talking about:
Do you enjoy playing a game full of tanks where you can use these incredible machines to plan your strategies or merely shoot enemies? The World of Tanks VR will give you the opportunity to feel like you are the tank. You will be able to turn your turret just by moving your head to reposition your vehicle. Of course, you will also have to use the controllers to move front and back, but who cares? It is still awesome.
The production manager of World of Tanks spoke to Kanstantsin Netylion as you saw in the video above about the whole idea behind the VR experience. Because they wanted to make it easily accessible to the players, so they chose to create it by using the Standard VR equipment.
The demo showed us that the game is supporting four players in total on a smaller map than the ones you are used to in World of Tanks. That is only because they wanted to make it easier for the players to find each other during the game. However, everyone who tried out the playtests saw that it was easy to play. That means that Wargaming is working hard to make the best World of Tanks VR experience for their community. The game is currently at an early stage of its development, and we do not know when it is going to be available.
