WWE 2K19 Extreme Rules 2019 match simulation for Styles vs. Ricochet

The WWE 2K19 game gives pro wrestling fans the ability to simulate matches ahead of the big events. Two of the best and most entertaining superstars in WWE right now will enter the ring at Sunday’s Extreme Rules. Ricochet captured the United States Championship just under three weeks ago at WWE Stomping Grounds. He defeated Samoa Joe for the championship belt but since then has been challenged by AJ Styles. He’s also been attacked by Styles’ reformed allies Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

Styles is also a former WWE US Champion and WWE Champion. He held the United States title two times during his career and also held the WWE Championship twice. The superstar named “Phenomenal” is 2K19’s main cover star and has battled the best in the business. He’s certainly got the experience and possibly the extra help on his side with heels Gallows and Anderson.

The man some have referred to as “King Ricochet” arrived as a part of the WWE 2K19 Rising Stars DLC, which was an extra purchase. In this sim, a 90-rated version of Ricochet is used from Community Creations to battle AJ Styles (91 OVR). As seen above, the WWE 2K19 cover star wins the match and captures the United States Championship for another title reign. Styles certainly has the credentials and one would think he’s always a favorite to win bigtime matches at pay-per-views. The fact he’s on the cover of the video game probably helped him secure this victory over the newer Ricochet. That said, it would make for a short title reign for “The One and Only” if he loses this weekend.

So did the WWE 2K19 Extreme Rules 2019 match simulation get things right? Fans will find out on Sunday, July 14 when the WWE’s next pay-per-view arrives from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Viewers can watch all of the PPV action live streaming through the WWE Network.
