WWE 2K19 MITB Simulation: Men’s Money in the Bank 2019 Ladder Match Results

The huge WWE Money in the Bank 2019 pay-per-view arrives this Sunday from Hartford, Connecticut. The main attraction and theme of the PPV is the ladder match and there’s two of them this year. Each will produce a MITB briefcase winner. We ran a women’s ladder match simulation (results here) which produced a winner for that match. Now we have to determine who wins the men’s ladder match. Here’s our WWE 2K19 MITB simulation for that big match.

Eight superstars in WWE 2K19 MITB simulation

Competing in the field for this year’s men’s ladder match are Andrade, Ricochet, Drew McIntyre, Finn Balor, Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin, Mustafa Ali, and Randy Orton. Corbin is amongst the most recent winners, giving him some experience. Orton has plenty of experience in these matches too, but that doesn’t mean a newcomer can’t win it.

In fact, over at WWE’s website, the three editors are each predicting a different newcomer is going to win this. One predicted Andrade will win, another has McIntyre, and the third chose Sami Zayn to claim the briefcase. The match will also bring Ricochet into the mix. He competed in one of NXT’s classic matches as they held a ladder match for inaugural NXT North American Championship.

Based on that recent footage, Ricochet’s got the skills to pull off some exciting and innovative moves in a ladder match. So we need to put these guys to the test in a simulation to see if the game can predict Sunday’s winning competitor.

In our simulation, we had to download a few CAWs to represent Ricochet and a bald Baron Corbin in street clothes. It’s worth noting that the Ricochet we used came with a 90 rating, the highest of anyone in the match. WWE’s Ricochet is available through the Rising Stars pack as bonus downloadable content.

That could very well end up being Sunday’s Money in the Bank match winner. It would certainly freshen things up and provide him with the kind of push WWE fans have been dying to see him get for years now!
