WWE 2K20 Originals: 2K Reveals Other Themes Arriving After Bump in the Night

Gamers are getting a preview of what other themes to expect when WWE 2K20 Originals content arrives over the course of the next year. It will start with the spooky Bump in the Night extra content which features Bray Wyatt aka “The Fiend” and other scary superstars. On Friday, October 18, WWE 2K showed a glimpse of the next three themes coming after that content.

All WWE 2K20 Originals themes revealed

The WWE 2K20 Originals Bump in the Night is already one of the more anticipated features in the game for many of those who pre-ordered. It will feature a more “fantasy-style” mode with different superstars featured as demons, zombies or other monsters. That plays into the Halloween season and also coincides with how over Bray Wyatt’s “The Fiend” character is right now.

Wyatt is featured as a main part of the first Originals content. Other superstars in the first Originals include Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Finn Balor, Nikki Cross, and Mandy Rose. There are unique locations and special challenges as part of the content each focused on a specific superstar in a zombified or monster form. Several videos have surfaced to show off the content including this one with Finn Balor’s 2K Showcase.

On Friday, gamers got a look at the other themes. After Bump in the Night, there will be one called “Wasteland Wanderers” in late 2019. It’s followed by Southpaw Regional Wrestling and then the Empire of Tomorrow theme, which are probably arriving at different times in 2020.

It will be interesting to see which unique versions of current superstars make their way into the other upcoming themes. In particular, the Empire of Tomorrow seems to be a futuristic theme. Southpaw Regional Wrestling may be more of an old school theme. As far as Wasteland Wanderers, that’s anyone’s guess. It comes right after Bump in the Night and seems like it could feature a post-apocalyptic swamp or nuclear theme.

To get the WWE 2K20 Originals content, gamers need to pre-order certain editions of 2K20. These include the Deluxe Edition for $89.99 or the SmackDown 20th Anniversary Editions for $129.99. Bump in the Night arrives as a pre-order bonus as soon as the game drops on Tuesday, October 22.
