WWE 2K20 Showcase Mode, Women’s Entrances, & Royal Rumble Gameplay Videos Arrive

The Women’s Evolution will be one of the major components in the new WWE 2K20 game. That’s been made clear from the start with the historic first-ever woman on the cover in Becky Lynch, the addition of a female MyPlayer in MyCareer, and the new Showcase mode. In the latter of these, the Four Horsewomen are featured in their journey from NXT up to the main roster where they made history. On Monday (Oct. 14), new videos arrived which show off that particular mode, as well as all of the women’s roster member entrances, and a Royal Rumble match.

Women’s entrances & Royal Rumble match

In a video from YouTube content creator SimplyBetterAM, gamers get a first look at each and every entrance for the women’s roster in WWE 2K20. That includes current main roster stars like Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, Charlotte, and Sasha Banks.

It also includes NXT stars such as Shayna Baszler, Bianca Belair, and Candice Lerae. Then there are also the various WWE legends such as Lita, Trish Stratus, Molly Holly, and the late Chyna, a bonus with certain WWE 2K20 pre-order editions. Here is the full video with all new entrances as fans can judge which ones they like and which ones they feel deserve better.

A great way to see many of the female competitors involved in some in-ring competition is with a women’s Royal Rumble match. That is exactly what YouTuber TonyPizzaGuy presented on Monday. The match takes place at the location of this past year’s women’s Royal Rumble, Chase Field from Phoenix, Arizona. It’s featured amongst the available WWE 2K20 arenas for the upcoming game.

TonyPizzaGuy’s Rumble match starts off in epic fashion too with Chyna as entrant No. 1 and Stephanie McMahon arriving out as the second entrant.

New WWE 2K20 Showcase Mode video arrives

YouTuber Chris Denker has been bringing plenty of new WWE 2K20 video content. On Monday, he not only showed off MyCareer mode but also a new video for WWE 2K20 Showcase mode. This year’s Showcase features cover star Becky Lynch along with the other Four Horsewomen: Bayley, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks. They helped spark the Women’s Evolution within WWE and made history in the process including the main event match at WrestleMania 35.

With the mode, gamers get to see exclusive segments as they talk about transitioning from NXT to the main roster. In addition, gamers will play through their important and historic matches. Denker’s new YouTube video shows how the mode starts out with each of the ladies speaking about their careers. After the real-life video footage and interview bits, a classic match launches for gamers to play involving Charlotte Flair vs. Natalya at NXT TakeOver.

That’s just Episode 1 for Denker’s video on the WWE 2K20 Showcase mode, so there should be more to come. So far, it seems like a fine addition to the game for people to play through. As far as nitpicking, there are a number of gamers disappointed with some of the superstars’ likenesses such as Ric Flair or various women’s hair. However, others are saying they’re excited to get their hands on the new game and the release date isn’t too far away.

The newest 2K title arrives on October 22, 2019, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PCs. Get more of the latest news and information on our WWE 2K page.
