Here is the list of September 2019 free games through Games with Gold which Microsoft published in its announcement post:
- Hitman: The Complete First Season ($39.99 ERP): Available September 1 to 30 on Xbox One
- We Were Here ($4.99 ERP): Available September 16 to October 15 on Xbox One
- Earth Defense Force 2025 ($49.99 ERP): Available September 1 to 15 on Xbox One & Xbox 360
- Tekken Tag Tournament 2 ($19.99 ERP): Available September 16 to 30 on Xbox One & Xbox 360
While we did not predict any of these Xbox Live Games with Gold free games, we are excited to play them. Let’s discuss the selection in a little more detail.
If you’re on Xbox One, you can enjoy playing the stealth collection Hitman: The Complete First Season. Over the course of the episodes, your contracts will take you to locations like Hokkaido, Paris, Bangkok and more.
Xbox One gamers also can play the puzzle game We Were Here. This co-op game puts teamwork to the test as you work with a partner to escape a strange castle.
For gamers on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One, there are two free games in September. First up is Earth Defense Force 2025. In this game, you can choose from any of four character classes and repel the Ravagers with hundreds of different weapons in your arsenal. Next up is Tekken Tag Tournament 2. In this title, you can pair up characters to fight for victory.
Now you know what free games you can look forward to during the month of September. Also don’t neglect your chance to enjoy Forza Motorsport 6 if you haven’t yet.
