Fallout 76 Repeatable Quests: How to Complete Earth Mover

The Fallout 76 Earth Mover repeatable quest is one of four daily, drop, and repeatable quests in the Ash Heap region. Located at Mount Blair in the centre of Ash Heap, the quest is also valuable for farming ore. As a repeatable quest, you can play Earth Mover as much as you want, making it ideal for farming.

How to Complete the Fallout 76 Earth Mover Repeatable Quest

The Fallout 76 Earth Mover repeatable quest is relatively easy to find; it sits atop the peak of Mount Blair, in the middle of the Ash Heap region. While it may be easy to find, it may not be so easy to get through the site to reach the Workshop. Be aware that enemies on Mount Blair typically vary from 25 – 35. To find the quest, you’ll need to claim the Mount Blair Workshop.

Once you have control of the Workshop, you should gain the first quest objective. To start with, you need to find the control room for the “Rockhound” Bucket-Wheel Excavator. In the control room, you’ll learn that you need to either craft or find four Ignition Cores. Once you have these, place them into the reactors. This will power up the Rockhound and begin the next stage.

The next part of the quest requires you to defend the Rockhound from waves of enemies. Specifically, enemies will be targeting the reactors, and you need these to keep power flowing to the Rockhound. Once you’ve successfully defended the Rockhound, it will enter a collection state. For the next thirty minutes, the Rockhound will function like a Workshop resource collector and produce metal ores. After that, the Ignition Cores will be expended and you can undertake the quest again. Be aware that the reactors may come under attack again during this time, so be sure to defend them.
