Madden 20 Heavyweights Return: Trey Flowers, James Daniels Get Ultimate Team Upgrades
On Wednesday, January 15, new Madden 20 Heavyweights were announced for Ultimate Team after a brief hiatus. The Heavyweights program features players that help provide bulk to the front lines for both the defense and offense. This week’s player selections were revealed as the Detroit Lions’ Trey Flowers and Chicago Bears’ James Daniels.
Trey Flowers & James Daniels get Madden 20 Heavyweights cards
In addition to this week’s Team of the Year players and new Madden Flashbacks, we also receive two new Heavyweights. On Tuesday night, they teased Detroit Lions right end Trey Flowers having a new 93 overall card. It includes the Power Up option. Flowers’ key attributes include his 94 Power Moves, 93 Play Recognition, 90 Tackle, and 89 Strength for the 6-foot-2 star.
He’s joined by Chicago Bears left guard James Daniels. At 6-foot-4, he’ll provide plenty of help for MUT rosters with his 93 Awareness as well as 90s for Pass Block, Pass Block Finesse, and Run Block ratings. Unfortunately, Daniels doesn’t get the Power Up option like Flowers. Here’s a look at the card as revealed earlier online.
Flowers and Daniels’ new items can be randomly obtained through the Madden 20 Heavyweights packs in the Store. These cost 6,490 Madden Training and feature one random 89-plus player inside. In addition, both player cards are available at the Auction Browser.
As of this report, the new Trey Flowers card is going for anywhere from 179,250 to over 260,000 Madden Coins. The James Daniels card is going for anywhere from 144,000 to 155,000 Madden Coins on the latest PS4 Auction listings. It should be a fine addition for those Chicago Bears theme teams.
Previous players included in the Madden 20 Heavyweights program have included Laremy Tunsil, Chris Jones, Akiem Hicks, and Mario Addison. With this program back as well as Flashbacks, next up we should see Veterans and then the weekend Legends players.
