The Twitch Rivals tournament begins today, February 12, 2019. In fact, if you are reading this right now, it’s likely that it’s already started. The tournament is kicking off at 12 pm ET (9 am PT) with Twitch hosting the European portion of the tournament. European Twitch streamers will compete for a $50,000 prize pool.

Afterward, the North American part of the Apex Legends Twitch Rivals tournament will begin. It starts later today at 4 pm ET (1 pm PT) on Twitch. How the tournament works is pretty simple. It is made up of popular streamers such as Shroud and so on as they compete for the most points.

If a player gets a kill, that’s one point. However, if a player gets a win, that’s five points. At the conclusion of the Apex Legends Twitch Rivals tournament, the placements will be determined by the overall points each player earns.
