Bandai Namco is Preparing a New Dragon Ball World Premiere

The success of Dragon Ball FighterZ and Xenoverse 2 is nothing to scoff at. Both games have become quite popular among Dragon Ball Z fans. Not only that, but DBFZ has become a staple in the fighting game community (FGC). Both titles received plenty of content updates and saw a long lifespan. However, it seems like Bandai Namco is preparing for an even bigger announcement.

Bandai Namco Announces a Game Showcase!

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be part of the Bandai Namco showcase

Bandai-Namco has recently announced a stream that will celebrate the best Dragon Ball games have to offer. The event is dubbed the “Dragon Ball Games Super Showcase” and will take place on January 14. In the event, we’ll see the producers of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Dragon Ball FighterZ; Masayuki Hino, and Tomoko Hiroki respectively.

However, Bandai-Namco has also announced that a special world premiere will be part of the event. For now, there’s no confirmation of what the premiere is going to be about. However, many fans speculate that it might be new content announcements for Xenoverse 2 and FighterZ.

On the other hand, there’s the possibility of getting a new game announcement. While that possibility is a bit lower than just getting content updates, it still is a very likely possibility. Alternatively, there could also be new updates for games such as Jump Force.

Another valid possibility is the reveal of a localization for the game Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission. This game for the Nintendo Switch will make its debut in Japan on April 4, 2019. However, the development team has hinted about a western release previously.

What do you think about the upcoming game showcase? Do you think we’ll get Super Dragon Ball Heroes on the west? Do you play Dragon Ball FighterZ or Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2?  Let us know your thoughts on the VGR Forums and stay tuned for more news.
