Bandai Namco Set To Reveal Even More Dragon Ball Characters for Jump Force

In a move that probably shouldn’t surprise anyone, brand new Jump Force characters are on the way to officially be revealed. Only, if you’re a fan of literally anything else that isn’t Dragon Ball, you’ll be disappointed. That’s right folks, even more Dragon Ball characters are set to join the Jump Force roster. What’s more, none of them are new. So, if you were expecting to see the likes of Caulifla or Chi Chi, think again.

Instead, thanks to Silliconera, it has been revealed that the two new Dragon Ball characters are Piccolo and Cell. Considering how we already have three Dragon Ball characters in the roster, I have to admit I’m uncertain at their inclusion. Nonetheless, those who aren’t fans of Dragon Ball are no doubt going to wake up feeling pretty salty at this news

I’m not quite sure I can blame them. Take a look at the latest V-Jump magazine, where it reveals Cell and Piccolo’s involvement in the game.

Jump Force: More Details with V-Jump

As you can see, both Cell and Piccolo are grouped with Vegeta and Frieza. Whether Bandai Namco will be announcing these characters soon remains to be seen, but if so, it may be quite the anti-climax.

Regardless of how you feel about this reveal, other information was uncovered in the V-Jump magazine. Such as the appearance of Himura Kenshin and Makoto Shishio, characters from Rurouni Kenshin. Whether they too will be revealed alongside the Dragon Ball characters is not known, but in the interest of not upsetting fans, it may be the best idea.

Of course, the reveal of these characters begs the question: when will female characters be added to the game? Jump Force’s producer has already said they’ll be included, but as of now? Only Rukia has been included in the roster. Here’s to hoping that’ll change in the future.
