Battlefield 1 Apocalypse Expansion Is Now Available For Free

The Road to Battlefield V event for older titles of the franchise is still going strong, with more expansions being available for free until August 7th. Right now, you can get Battlefield 1 Apocalypse, along with two expansions for Battlefield 4 without paying for them.

The news comes from the Battlefield official site, where all announcements for the Road to Battlefield V are being held. There’s not much for you to get the aforementioned expansions, since the offers stands until August 7th. So pack up and redeem Battlefield 1 Apocalypse, the lest one of the title to become available that way. Its description reads:

The focus of Stage 3 is devastation — captured across five maps in the Battlefield 1 Apocalypse expansion, based on the Great War’s most brutal battles. The once quiet and peaceful village of Passchendaele has been pulverized by weapons designed to end the war swiftly. The infantry-focused Passchendaele map provides cover and trench networks, ruined houses, and abundant shell craters. Similarly, the once thriving wheat fields of Somme have been cooked to ash by a storm of steel. Embark on open warfare on the River Somme map with clear trench line battles of man versus machine.

If you’ve redeemed the previous expansions available through Road to Battlefield V then congratulations. You now own the whole Battlefield 1 experience with now Season Pass in your possesion.

Furthermore, two expansions for Battlefield 4 are available for free. Battlefield 4 Naval Strike and China Rising come in to “finish off” the third stage of Road to Battlefield V event.

Last but not least, when logging into Battlefield 1, a menu lists daily tasks that will go toward earning various rewards, like weapon and equipment skins, Dog Tags, and Squad XP Boosts. These weekly rewards are also your chance to get a head start on your Battlefield V gear, with ways to earn weapon skins for use in that game once it drops in October.
