You Can Get Battlefield V DLC By Playing Battlefield 1

The “Road to Battlefield V” challenge sheet that is available in Battlefield 1 is not only providing you with needed items in both games but it was recently revealed to be giving you access to free Battlefield V DLC.

The transision from one game to another, from World War 1 to World War 2 is happening through a series of challenges, available for all owners of Battlefield 1. Electronic Arts and DICE have already be giving away two DLC for Battlefield 1 and 4 for free, with Battlefield V DLC to be joining the challenges soon.

What do those Battlefield V DLC unlockables include? As DICE revealed through the Battlefield 1’s in-game menu, the weekly rewards of “Road to Battlefield V” will include cosmetic items for the upcoming title that unlock when that game launches.

For the first time, Battlefield V will let you customize your characters with different types of cosmetics, creating a personalized soldier to take to battle with you. The cosmetics include things like camo patterns, head gear, face paint, and weapon skins.

If you purchase the Battlefield V Deluxe Edition, you’ll get 6 exclusive soldier sets, to start your cosmetic collection on the right foot. Two of the whole “soldier sets” collection will be available through the the Road to Battlefield V event as Gamespot reports.

As for Battlefield 1, DICE is on the right track of transisioning to Battlefield V, giving away free expansion packs to players that already own the game. Turning Tides and In the Name of the Tsar have already been handed out to players, while several sources reveal that the Battlefield 1 Apocalypse expansion will also be available for free soon.

If you want to try out Battlefield 1 for yourself before you jump into the next Battlefield title this October, you can play the game for free through EA’s Origin Access subscription service for only $3.99 per month.
