Overture is the first chapter of the Battlefield 5 Tides of War. Each chapter adds new gameplay content and also include a variety of weekly Chapter Events. Throughout the course of each chapter, everything you do in Battlefield 5 earns you Chapter XP, which contributes towards your Chapter Rank. By ranking up your Chapter Rank, you can earn Battlefield 5 Chapter Rewards unique to that particular chapter. Overall, Overture features 20 possible ranks, each with its own reward.

All Battlefield 5 Chapter Rewards Available for Players in Overture

Each Chapter Rank you attain during Overture will unlock one of the Battlefield 5 Chapter Rewards. The Overture rewards range from weapon sets and vehicle decals to emblems. There are also 4 different Special Assignments which players can pick up, at ranks 3, 7, 12, and 16. Additionally, you can earn three different ranks of Dog Tags specific to Overture, Bronze at rank 2, silver at rank 10, and gold at rank 20. The twenty different Overture Chapter Rewards are as follows:

• Chapter Rank 1: Overture Emblem.
• Chapter Rank 2: Overture Bronze Dog Tag.
• Chapter Rank 3: Special Assignment 1.
• Chapter Rank 4: Blenheim Airplane Decal.
• Chapter Rank 5: Volkssturmgewehr Weapon Set.
• Chapter Rank 6: Ju 88A Airplane Decal.
• Chapter Rank 7: Special Assignment 2.
• Chapter Rank 8: STEN Weapon Set.
• Chapter Rank 9: Model 8 Weapon Set.
• Chapter Rank 10: Overture Silver Dog Tag.
• Chapter Rank 11: VGO Weapon Set. Note that this applies to the VGO Medium Machine Gun, which is available only as the reward for Overture’s first weekly Chapter Event; Attrition and Fortifications.
• Chapter Rank 12: Special Assignment 3.
• Chapter Rank 13: Selbstlader 1906 Weapon Set.
• Chapter Rank 14: Spitfire Mk VA Airplane Body.
• Chapter Rank 15: Bf 109 Airplane Body.
• Chapter Rank 16: Special Assignment 4.
• Chapter Rank 17: Panzer IV Tank Body.
• Chapter Rank 18: Valentine Mk VIII Tank Body.
• Chapter Rank 19: Ag m/42 Weapon Set.
• Chapter Rank 20: Dead Man’s Hand Soldier Set and the Overture Gold Dog Tag. Note that the Special Soldier Set is only available for Allied soldiers.
