Battlefield V Artbook Up For Pre-Order, Features Female Character On Cover

A hardcover Battlefield V artbook has been announced by DICE, featuring a female character on its cover. The artbook, named The Art of Battlefield V is far from release but is a solid way for the studio to establish their point of view on the historical accuracy backlash.

The Art of Battlefield V is a hardcover 200 pages artbook with hundreds of pieces of concept art showcasing the creative process from rough sketch to final on-screen imagery, paired with exclusive commentary from the talented team who put it all together. At least that’s how DICE describes their recently revealed Battlefield V artbook which is up for pre-order now. It’s description reads:

War will never be the same. Enter mankind’s greatest conflict as Battlefield goes back to its roots in a never-before-seen portrayal of World War II. Face chaotic all-out war and witness human drama set against global combat in epic, unexpected locations. This is Battlefield V. The richest and most immersive Battlefield yet.

The volume will release on October 16th and costs $39.99. As with everything the bears the “pre-order” label we advice everyone to be patient and not hit the button in cold blood. There’s no question as to if Battlefield V will be succesful on the long run. However, we might have the opportunity to get a collector’s edition of the game later on featuring a volume like this.

The publisher of the Battlefield V Artbook is Dark Horse Books, the same publisher that is releasing the Call of Duty Zombies comic, featuring some backstory about Black Ops 4 Zombies later next month.

For what it’s worth it will be interesting to see how all these realistic places and the characters of the game were sketched and finally made into 3D models before being implemented into Battlefield V. If the game is as emotional as DICE claims, then this book is a must have for fans out there.
