Bethesda Aims to Fix Invisible Teammate Bug in Next Patch

Although Bethesda has been hard at work for months fixing bugs and exploits in Fallout 76, and recently seemed to celebrate fixing the majority of the problems with the announcement of a 2019 DLC roadmap, the studio still has several bugs on their radar. One Fallout 76 bug which has plagued some unfortunate players since at least December causes teammates to become invisible to one another. However, it seems that Bethesda is hoping to have a fix in time for the next patch.

Invisible Teammate Fallout 76 Bug Could Get a Fix Soon

The invisible teammate Fallout 76 bug was one of several bugs highlighted in a recent Reddit post. Redditor PanhuWoW was just one of those who have come across this bug; “Biggest and most ANNOYING bug of all time is having players/friends go completely invisible,” they say; “had a friend recently buy and play it with me, but we kept turning invisible to each other, made a REALLY bad first impression on the game and I honestly felt embarrassed because it took a lot of convincing to get him to buy the game after the awful reviews.

Fallout 76 Bug Invisibility Should Get a Fix Soon

Fortunately, it seems that this particularly annoying bug may soon be dealt with. A Community Manager from Bethesda who goes by Valseek on Reddit, responded to their comment by confirming that; “This one’s on our radar and we’re hoping to have a fix roll out for invisible teammates in our next patch.

It’s unknown exactly when the next patch will release for Fallout 76. However, for several months now Bethesda has followed a relatively reliable schedule; releasing two new patches every month, with one typically coming in the first or second week. The second monthly patch tends to release toward the end of the month. In fact, the latest patch released roughly one week ago. There’s no guarantee that the fix will be ready by the next patch release; a release which will presumably be in early March. However, the studio representative certainly sounds confident that it could be. Hopefully that will prove to be the case.
