Interested in playing the PS5 launch game Bugsnax? Then you are in luck, because Bugsnax is free through PS Plus now. Gamers on PS5 as well as those on PS4 can take advantage of this opportunity to play the game at no cost.
Bugsnax is Free Through PS Plus
For many months now, PlayStation Plus has made two PS4 games free each month to subscribers. This month, Sony added in a third title for PS5 and PS4, which is Bugsnax. In fact, Bugsnax is available starting now, and will continue to be on offer through January 4th. If you download it by that date, you can play it for free so long as you have an active subscription to the service.
Will PS5 games offered through PS Plus always be available for this length of time? We still don’t know. This could be a one-off, or it could mean that future PS5 free games will each be featured for two months instead of one. We will just have to see.
Don’t know anything about Bugsnax? It is a whimsical and surreal game. The official can probably explain it better than we can. The description says, “Bugsnax takes you on a whimsical adventure to Snaktooth Island, home of the legendary half-bug half-snack creatures, Bugsnax. Invited by intrepid explorer Elizabert Megafig, you arrive to discover your host nowhere to be found, her camp in shambles, and her followers scattered across the island alone… and hungry! It’s up to you to solve the mysteries of Snaktooth Island: What happened to Lizbert? What are Bugsnax and where do they come from? But most of all, why do they taste SO GOOD?”
