Interestingly enough, Black Ops 4 Raul Menendez wasn’t available right at the launch of the game. Developer Treyarch added the fan favorite character in the weeks since it came out. This is great, as it shows that the popular Battle Royale-style mode will continue to receive new content often. Here’s how you go about unlocking Raul Menendez in the Blackout mode.
How to Unlock Black Ops 4 Raul Menendez
Unlocking Raul Menendez is actually a whole lot easier than some of the other characters. For those who don’t know, Menendez is one of (if not the) most memorable villain in the entire Call of Duty series. A major part of Black Ops 2, he is a character that some players are no doubt wanting to unlock. Like others, you are going to need to find an item first.
The item that you need to find during a Blackout match is Black Ops 4 Raul Menendez’s locket. For now, we only know that the locket can be found by opening up supply drops. Once you have the locket in your inventory, the challenge isn’t over yet. You will also need to complete two more objectives within the same match.
The first of these is killing an enemy with a shotgun. As such, you might need to loot more supply drops or buildings to find one. After you’ve successfully done this, you’ll also need to kill an enemy with a melee attack like fists, knife, etc. Do these and you’ll have Black Ops 4 Raul Menendez.
