Activision Releases Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Battle Pass Trailer

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season One is here, and as Activision recently promised, so to have details about the new Battle Pass arrived, along with a new trailer highlighting what it includes. The first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Battle Pass offers players a host of extra content and rewards in the first season, although some of the pass content will also be available to all players.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Battle Pass

Activision has been keeping details about the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Battle Pass under wraps until now. Now, players can find out exactly what they’ll be getting with the pass. Firstly, the Battle Pass features 100 content tiers. These can be reached by playing the game normally, earning XP, and completing in-game challenges, as all three contribute to Battle Pass XP. (Note that the 100 Battle Pass tiers are wholly separate from the game’s 100 Officer Ranks.)

Overall, 20 of the 100 tiers are free to all players, and notably, these 20 include the two new weapons; the RAM 7 assault rifle and Holger-26 light machine gun. The full set of tiers includes a whole host of Rare, Epic, and Legendary Weapon Blueprints, new Operator skins, and new challenges. Players will also immediately unlock Mara, a new Operative for multiplayer. The tiers also include a total of 1,300 COD points as rewards during the progression. (300 of which are available in the free 20 tiers.)

To get the Season One Battle Pass, you can purchase it in-game for 1,000 COD points. Alternatively, you can get the more expensive Battle Pass Bundle. This gives you the Battle Pass and also gives you a full 20 tier skips. Note that you can also buy single tier skips for 150 COD points each. The Battle Pass will be available throughout Season One, and experience gained during the season will count towards it whether or not you purchase it. This means that if you decide to get the Battle Pass later in the season, all the XP you’ve already earned through playing will immediately count into the Battle Pass, unlocking as many tiers as you would have unlocked had you bought it on day one.
