New Call of Duty Update Launches New Nukejacked 24/7

With the start of a new month, Treyarch has rolled out a major new update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, triggering a new Double XP weekend and implementing new in-game playlists. Players can now jump into Nukejacked 24/7, Throwback Moshpit, and more.

The July Update for Black Ops Cold War

“Black Ops II fans, it’s coming home,” writes Treyarch, in the patch notes of their latest Call of Duty update. Nukejacked 24/7 is a brand-new playlist for Black Ops Cold War (though something of a returning classic for older fans), featuring a Moshpit of 6v6 respawn game modes. The playlist only includes two maps; Nuketown ’84 and Hijacked. (Arguably two of the most classic maps in the Black Ops series, if not Call of Duty in general.)

Nukejacked 24/7 isn’t the only new playlist in this July update, however. The Throwback Moshpit playlist is back, with more maps than before. It now includes Express, Hijacked, Nuketown ’84, Raid, and Standoff. Collateral Combined Arms 24/7, meanwhile, offers 12v12 combat with a Combined Arms version of Collateral, featuring both air and land vehicles. Finally, Gunfight Blueprints is back, together with Face Off 6v6 and 12v12 Moshpit. These are available for both Core and Hardcore. In fact, both Nukejacked 24/7 and Throwback Moshpit also have Hardcore options.

These new and returning playlists should give gamers plenty to do over the long weekend. Until the morning of the 6th of July, players can get both Double XP and Double Weapon XP in both Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone. If the latest seasonal content doesn’t tempt you back this weekend, the new playlists just might.

Elsewhere, the Call of Duty update also included a handful of bug fixes and general tweaks. Owners of the Skyhook Operator Skin for Park, originally from the PlayStation Combat Pack, should have access to it once more. (The Skin was temporarily disabled due to a stability issue.)
