With each new chapter in the Tides of War, Battlefield 5 players have the opportunity to earn special Chapter XP. Like the game’s other XP systems, this XP contributes towards a ranking; in this case, your Chapter Rank. With each new rank, players can earn unique rewards available only during Battlefield 5 Lightning Strikes, the second Tides of War chapter.

All 40 Chapter Ranks and Unique Rewards in Battlefield 5 Lightning Strikes

Overall, players can reach up to 40 ranks in Lightning Strikes, just like in Overture, the first chapter. You’ll earn Chapter XP for Lightning Strikes just through playing Battlefield 5 during the chapter; you don’t need to play any specific game mode or achieve any specific objectives. Each rank offers a new unique reward. The forty Battlefield 5 Lightning Strikes ranks and their associated rewards are as follows. Seven of these rewards will actually unlock the chapter’s seven Special Assignments.
