Cyberpunk 2077 Photo Mode Revealed in Latest Trailer

The launch of Cyberpunk 2077 is now just one week away, and as hype builds to a fever pitch, CD Projekt Red has released a brand-new trailer showcasing the game’s Photo Mode. The mode will give players an impressive level of control, from poses to filters, exposure, grain, and more.

The Cyberpunk 2077 Photo Mode

CD Projekt Red first addressed the idea of a Cyberpunk 2077 Photo Mode two years ago, when the game’s official Twitter account confirmed that it would have such a mode. However, last year, the game’s Quest Director stated that it was “hard to tell” whether a Photo Mode was happening for sure. At the time, it seemed likely that the studio were struggling to get it in prior to launch, potentially leaving it to arrive in a post-launch update.

However, since then, Cyberpunk 2077 has had a whole series of delays, bringing us to the upcoming December release date. That has meant many months of extra development time and, it seems, enough time to get the Photo Mode into the game ready for release. Today’s trailer shows that mode in action, revealing the options menu which will allow players to set up their shot. Indeed, the menu is incredibly in-depth, offering a huge range of settings for players to use.

Cyberpunk 2077 Photo Mode Revealed Trailer 2

While Photo Modes are theoretically quite a small part of most games, they have proven to be extremely popular in the last few years. Many big, triple-A games have added Photo Modes post-launch, including titles like God of War, and the depth of these modes has gotten progressively deeper. Of course, the more controls players get, the easier it will be for them to create unique images to share online, helping to build an active fan community. As a result, it makes sense for CD Projekt Red to have the mode ready to go ahead of the December launch date. No doubt the Cyberpunk 2077 Photo Mode will be hugely popular.
