Dark Souls Trilogy Arrives This October for PS4 and Xbox One

Bandai Namco has announced the Dark Souls Trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One. This bundle brings together all three of the games in the series in their most complete form to date. The trilogy will be released on October 19, 2018 with a surprisingly high MSRP of $79.99 USD. The press release we received only mentions a physical version so it is uncertain if a digital bundle will also be available.

The Dark Souls Trilogy includes all three games in one exclusive steel book case. These are the best versions of each game with their respective DLC included. The first game in the series will be the Dark Souls Remastered version that released on Xbox One and PS4 earlier this year, while the second and third titles will be Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin and Dark Souls III: The Fires Fade Edition, respectively.

Bandai Namco notes in the press release for the Dark Souls Trilogy that this is really meant for those gamers who haven’t had a chance to check out any of the Dark Souls games yet, as it offers everything in a single complete package. This is a great way to experience the three games that developer From Software has crafted.

If you are interested in picking up this exclusive trilogy for yourself, we recommend you pre-order it immediately. Bandai Namco also notes that there will be a limited quantity of the Dark Souls Trilogy physically in the Americas so it is imperative that you pre-order as soon as possible before it releases.

The Dark Souls Trilogy releases on October 19, 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One. No mention of a Nintendo Switch or PC release was mentioned. However, the original Dark Souls Remastered does finally come to Switch oddly enough on the exact same day as the trilogy of October 19, 2018.
