Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Deluxe Edition Comes with a Sick-Looking Ghost

Bungie announced Shadowkeep back on June 4 in a Reveal Stream. They revealed what they’ve been working on for the past couple of months. For the first time in franchise’s history, Bungie used the term MMO RPG for Destiny 2. Now that Bungie is self-publishing Destiny 2, they want to make everything right and according to what the players have been asking for. In that reveal stream, Luke Smith answered some frequently asked question from the community.

If you wondering about the Trials of the Nine coming back to Destiny 2, well that’s not going to happen at least with Shadowkeep. Luke Smith confirmed that Bungie wants to make the foundations of the PvP strong before they bring back Trials of the Nine. Shadowkeep includes a really sick-looking exotic ghost shell as a pre-order bonus.

There are three editions of Destiny 2: Shadowkeep – Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition and Collector’s Edition. Each edition comes with some pre-order bonuses (except for the standard edition. It only has the base Shadowkeep). Digital Deluxe Edition comes with three pre-order bonuses – “Benighted Omen” Emblem, Eris Morn Exotic Ghost Shell and “Hearing Whispers” Exotic Emote.

Now, for Collector’s Edition, it includes a Collector’s Edition exclusive In-game Emblem Code, Hive Cryptoglyph Replica, Metal Luna Mission Container, Luna Mission Handbook, Luna Journal, and Artifacts from the Golden Age. Collector’s Edition for Shadowkeep is currently Sold Out on Bungie Store.

Earlier this week, Bungie released a blog-post stating the updated release date for Shadowkeep which is now October 1, 2019 (was September 17, 2019). On top of that, Cross Save will be going live later this month (August).

Currently, Solstice of Heroes is live in Destiny 2. Good news is that Solstice of Heroes’ Armor Sets will have Armor 2.0 perk system. So, you won’t just vault these armor sets after the Solstice of Heroes end (like last year). Update 2.5.2.2 will finally be tuning down the Mountaintop and Wendigo GL3 quest lines along with a community challenge that week.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
