Destiny 2: Solstice Armor Can Be Masterworked After The SOH Ends

Last year, Bungie released a new seasonal event called Solstice of Heroes in Destiny 2. It came with some new shiny looking armor and cosmetics from the Eververse Store. There may have been some flaws in last year’s Solstice of Heroes event but players did have a good time grinding the limited-time solstice armor.

Just like last year, this year Bungie brought back this event with some revamped armor, quests and challenges to the table. This year’s Solstice Armor has three tiers (like last year) – Drained, Renewed and Majestic. You can acquire your Drained set of armor by visiting Eva Levante in the Tower right beside the Solstice Statues.

Every piece of Solstice Armor you get comes with some challenges. These challenges have to be completed in order to get to the next tier armor. Drained Armor challenges are fairly easy to do. But when you get to the Blue armor that is Renewed, things start to become more challenging and time-consuming.

Completing 10 Gambit matches, getting several hundred kills in strikes or getting 100 mini-boss kills in EAZ can be pretty annoying after a certain period of time. Majority of Destiny Community isn’t happy with the 100 mini-bosses challenge in EAZ and wants Bungie to tweak it down to 50. Here’s our take on how Bungie can fix this step in Destiny 2.

Fast-forwarding to Majestic Armor set after you acquire it, you’ll need to complete its challenges just like the other two. But, it seems this armor’s objectives are the most time-consuming as compared to the other two.

So, while most players don’t have that much time on their hand, Bungie just confirmed that you can master-work your Solstice Armor even after the Solstice of Heroes ends. dmg04 (Community Manager at Bungie)on TwitterYou can masterwork armor after the event has ended.
