It Turns Out Destiny 2’s Warlock’s Melee Speed Slower As Compared To Other Classes

With the release of Destiny 2, Bungie changed some of the melee animations for classes like Hunters. Back in Destiny 1, Hunters only had knife melee ability but in Destiny 2, Hunters can also be able to punch with Arc sub-class. As for Titans, we know they are the best when it comes to punching something. If we talk about Warlocks in Destiny 2, while the super abilities are fun and really useful, the melee speed is really slow as one Reddit user has just found out.

Destiny 2: Warlocks Melee Needs Some Tweaking

This Reddit user has made a comparison video of him showing off the melee of each subclass and yes, you guessed right. Warlocks melee speed is much slower if we compare it to other classes’ melee (Hunters and Titans). You can check out the video below:

In this comparison, we can see that each class has performed melee five times and by the time Hunters and Titans were finished Warlock was still going. It’s quite a difference and needs to be fixed as soon as possible. We know that there will be a sandbox update coming next season with a lot of new changes and fixing the old bugs.

Destiny 2 Warlocks Season of Dawn

But as for this, we have no information on when Bungie is going to put out an update or a hotfix. We certainly hope this will get fixed next Season (Season of Dawn). Speaking of Season of Dawn, it will be getting revealed tomorrow. If you don’t know the schedule and where to watch it, make sure to check out our complete guide here

Season of Dawn feels like another Vex-y themed season. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments!

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is now live on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, released on October 1, 2019, and later in November on Google Stadia.
