Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 3 Reloaded Starts Tomorrow

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – Season 3 first began around one month ago, and since then, players have had plenty of time to get to grips with the latest content. Now, Treyarch has announced ‘Season 3 Reloaded‘; the mid-season content launch, which is due to roll out tomorrow.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – Season 3 Reloaded

Season 3 Reloaded will be launching at 9:00 PM PT tomorrow, on the 19th of May (12:00 AM ET on the 20th). As usual, this ‘Reloaded’ event contains a large batch of new, mid-season content. Headlining the launch, however, is something more unusual; the “80’s Action Heroes” event.

Starting on the 20th of May, this event will allow players to unlock new Weapon Blueprints themed around 80’s action classics. The event features its own game mode – Die Hardpoint – which gives players huge buffs if they can eliminate multiple enemies without dying. Another game mode – Rambo’s Gun Game – will be available from next week. There will even be both Die Hard and Rambo store bundles containing exclusive Operator skins!

Players can look forward to two new multiplayer maps; Standoff (6v6) and Duga (Multi-Team). Two new weapons will be arriving mid-season, the first of which will be the Baseball Bat, which will be exclusive to Black Ops Cold War. The AMP63 machine pistol will be coming to both Cold War and Warzone later in the season. The Ballistic Knife will also finally come to Warzone later this week.

New content is also coming to Zombies in Season 3 Reloaded. The first-ever Outbreak Main Quest will be launching in-game on the 20th of May; serving as the next expansion of the Black Ops Cold War Zombies storyline. One of the largest things coming in Season 3 Reloaded, however, is a massive weapon tuning update. This two-part update affects weapons across all modes and Zombies, and covers all assault rifles, LMGs, pistols, and sniper rifles. The second part goes further to fine-tune most weapons specifically for Zombies; “to ensure each weapon is a viable choice in any situation.”
