D.Va’s Nano-Cola Challenge Update Brings New Skin, Fixes Teleport Bug

Last week, Overwatch tank hero D.Va got her very own animated short as well as a map set in her home country of South Korea. Then, Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan teased that the professional gamer slash mech builder would be getting a new Nan0-Cola skin.

Blizzard revealed Tuesday that Overwatch players will, in fact, be able to earn the epic-ranked Nano-Cola D.Va skin by winning nine matches in either Quick Play, the Arcade or Competitive Play.

Fans were able to get a sneak peek at the bright new skin in advertisements spread across the new Busan control map as well as in some concept art from Blizzard for the soda brand.

Players now have until Sept. 10 to unlock the skin in what is called D.Va’s Nano-Cola Challenge. The challenge also features new Nano-Cola sprays, one of which can be earned at three wins and another at six wins.

Overwatch players can also earn special D.Va sprays by watching participating Twitch streamers using Twitch Drop. The following streamers will have Twitch Drops enabled for the duration of the event, and fans aren’t limited to only watching during the times listed on the site.

The update also fixes a bug that has “allowed Symmetra to teleport players into certain vehicles on King’s Row and Numbani,” according to Blizzard’s patch notes. Among these vehicles was the King’s Row double-decker bus.

The inside of the bus is pretty spacious, capable of fitting a whole team. However, then the whole team would be banned for exploiting the bug, since players can shoot through the wall but can’t get hit.
