EA Reveals Madden NFL 21 Pro Bowl Competitors Including Snoop Dogg, Deshaun Watson

Ahead of a virtual gridiron battle, EA has unveiled a look at the star-studded lineup for Pro Bowl: The Madden NFL 21 Edition. The big game will take place instead of a real-life NFL Pro Bowl, which typically takes place after the season ends. In addition, EA has revealed details about other competitive Madden NFL 21 game events arriving online this week.

EA’s Virtual Pro Bowl to feature Snoop Dogg, Deshaun Watson, and more

For 2021, a collection of NFL stars and celebrities are participating in a Madden NFL 21 Pro Bowl game presented by Verizon. That includes hip-hop star and Madden gamer, Snoop Dogg, as well as NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace. There are also current Pro Bowlers and NFL legends competing on the video game, using this year’s official Pro Bowl rosters.

An EA press release about the event included comments from David Tinson, CMO, Electronic Arts.

“EA SPORTS’ commitment to help fans experience sport in new ways is realized perfectly by the transformation of this year’s Pro Bowl to the virtual field of Madden NFL. We’re further blurring the lines between reality and the virtual worlds of our games, creating new opportunities to connect fans through the sport they love,” Tinson said.

Fans will also see Texans quarterback DeShaun Watson, Cardinals QB Kyler Murray, Seahawks safety Jamal Adams, and Titans halfback Derrick Henry. Former NFL stars Keyshawn Johnson and Marshawn Lynch will also be participants in The Pro Bowl: Madden NFL 21 Edition.

“We’ll be taking the Pro Bowl to the virtual world of Madden this weekend and I can’t wait to do it big with football fans in my favorite game,” Snoop Dogg said, per an EA press release.

“I’m a Madden NFL star. So, Kyler and Marshawn better watch out – my team is comin’ in to win that championship title for the AFC,” the hip-hop star shared.

Several weeks ago, Snoop Dogg participated in Derwin James vs. The World on Madden NFL 21. He battled NFL star Derwin James, and despite a loss, displayed his skills on Madden. Now he’ll take those skills into this battle as a representative for the AFC in the virtual Pro Bowl event.
