The Red Dead Redemption 2 Companion App will be available for free on both iOS and Android devices. It will offer “real-time interactive information” to your mobile device for use in the main game. Your mobile device will essentially become like a second screen for Red Dead Redemption 2. Of course, this means you will be able to use the app as an interactive map (which leaked recently) without opening up the menu.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 Companion App’s map will come complete with the ability to set up points for you to check out and they will actually appear in the game. However, that isn’t all that the app is useful for. In addition, players are able to see various HUD components like health and so on in the app, too.
