FIFA 19 EFL Team of the Season Revealed Including Jarrod Bowen, Pablo Hernandez Upgrades
The best-of-the-best from the English Football League (EFL) officially have their place on a special team within the FIFA video game. On Friday, gamers got to see the newly-unveiled FIFA 19 EFL Team of the Season lineup. It features a number of highly-rated cards including 88 overalls for Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Hernandez. Those are just two of the headliners for this star-studded football squad, though.

We go from Team of the Week to Team of the Season! Leading the way for the team are two 88-rated stars. First up, we have Jarrod Bowen. The Hull City star’s previous best cards were a 77 and 69 OVR in the FIFA game. His new one now brings some great skill ratings to the table. That includes 90 Pace, 88 Shooting, 87 Dribbling, 80 Passing, and 80 Physicality. So right off the bat, most gamers will be pleased with the upgrade Bowen received. However, there are plenty of new cards like that here.
After originally having a 73 OVR card with 71 Pace, 73 Passing, and 69 Shooting, Hernandez gets a sweet upgrade. His new EFL TOTS card brings 86 Pace, 88 Passing, and 85 Shooting to the pitch. So this new card will certainly be one that gamers will be trying to acquire based on just how much of an upgrade it has.
The image below shows the EFL Team of the Season in all its glory. The squad features a total of 20 players with ratings from 80 to 88 overall.
While this is a great lineup as is, there will always be some complaints of potential snubs. A few of the names popping up around the interweb include Darren Randolph, Jamal Lewis, James Justin, Che Adams, and Billy Sharp.
However, one guy that’s notably missing is Aiden McGeady, a League One POTY nominee. Some gamers believe he could show up as an SBC (Squad Building Challenge), so stay tuned on that front.
Gamers can find the new EFL Team of the Season by starting up FIFA 19 and going into Ultimate Team mode. The new EFL TOTS player cards are available through FUT packs and at the transfer market.
