FIFA 19 EFL Young Player of the Season Voting, Three Nominees Vying For Award

Three young stars are vying to win the FIFA 19 EFL Young Player of the Season award voting. It will be the third-straight season in which the award has been given out by English Football League, a partner with EA FIFA. The latest winner will join 2018 winner Ryan Sessegnon and 2017 winner Ollie Watkins. Here are the latest details on the three EFL nominees and how to cast your vote for the player you think is most deserving of this year’s award.

We’ve seen the best in the game named to FIFA’s Team of the Year. We’ve also seen the FIFA 19 Future Stars revealed. Now FIFA is asking gamers to choose who they believe is the best overall player from the young EFL stars this season. Let’s check out the three contenders’ season stats.

At 19 years old, Norwich City defender Max Aarons is having quite the season. He’s participated in 33 matches with 56 tackles, nine clean sheets, and a passing accuracy of 80 percent. Luton Town midfielder James Justin isn’t doing too bad either. The 21-year-old has racked up three goals, five assists, and 14 clean sheets in his 36 matches this season.

The third of the three nominees is Derby County’s Harry Wilson. He’s the oldest of these “young” stars at age 22. However, he’s scored 10 goals and given out two assists in 31 matches. Wilson’s also got a 74 percent passing accuracy to boot. All three players are shown in action in the EFL nominees highlight video below.

In the FIFA 19 game, Wilson boasts the best overall player card with a 70 rating. He’s got a 78 Pace, 72 Dribbling, 64 Shooting, and 63 Passing. Justin brings a 61 rating which includes 70 Pace, 61 Dribbling, and 61 Physicality. Aarons has just a 58 rating but has the best Pace of the three young stars at 79. A case can be made for each of these three players, but only one can win the award.

Once there, you can view each of the players to see their season stats and FIFA 19 player cards. You can then click on the player you want to vote for. You may have to enter a CAPTCHA code to prove you’re not a robot and then EA will give a pop-up message thanking you for your vote.

After that, you also have the option to Share your vote to Facebook or Tweet it on Twitter using a provided caption with it. That way you can let others know exactly which player you support for the award.

The Young Player of the Season is just one of many accolades. There will be 13 total awards given out to other players, managers, Clubs, and legends in football.
