As of Thursday, the EA Sports FIFA team revealed upgrades for several important aspects of the newest game. Many Ultimate Team players will now have Skill Move and Weak Foot upgrades reflected. This will undoubtedly help raise the value of a number of FUT players out there in the game. Here are more details about the latest FIFA 19 Skill Move and Weak Foot upgrades.
FIFA 19 Weak Foot upgrades, Skill Moves update
Weak Foot basically applies to the non-preferred (weaker) foot for a player. So if a player’s preferred foot is right, their Weak Foot is the left. The rating out of five refers to the shot power and ball controls for that Weak Foot. As an example, a 1 or 2 out of 5 is below average, 3 out of 5 is above average, and so on.
A number of players upgraded from a Weak Foot of 3 to 5 now in the game. As examples, Zhang Wenzhao, Elliot Embleton, Alexander Nubel, and Laribi Karim were players who made this jump. Other players moved up from 2 or 3 to 4 for their Weak Foot. Some went from 1 to 3 or 2 to 3. Chen Zhao, Giacomo Stalino, and Joonas Tamm all went from a 1 to a 2 for Weak Foot.
EA applied Thursday’s upgrades to a good number of FIFA Ultimate Team players. Luckily, there are lists for gamers to see all the players that benefit from these upgrades. Check out the entire list at EA’s forum post.

In addition to the Weak Foot upgrades, they also gave a FIFA Ultimate Team update for Skill Moves to a good number of players. Notably, six players improved to a 5 out of 5 for Skill Moves. Hallescher FC’s Manu Braydon went from a 3 to a 5. Others who moved from the 4 level up to 5 included Farid Boulaya, Amine Harit, Luciano Acosta, Franco Cervi, and January’s FIFA 19 POTM Marcus Rashford.
Just like the Weak Foot upgrade, the Skill Moves upgrade will boost the value of players on the markets including Rashford. In addition, it could make certain players on your FUT roster more valuable to use if they weren’t getting that much use before. Check out the full list here of players with the upgraded Skill Moves.
