FIFA 19 Soundtrack Arrives On Spotify Featuring Childish Gambino, Gorillaz, And More

One of the best aspects of the EA Sports lineup of games is the variety of inspiring music featured on each of the soundtracks. They’ll continue the tradition with the FIFA 19 soundtrack as the tracklist just dropped Friday. The new playlist features a mixed selection of genres from a number of today’s top artists. Among those on the compilation are hip-hop stars Childish Gambino and J. Cole, as well as alternative rock group Gorillaz.

EA Sports made the big announcement on their Twitter on Friday (Aug 31). The brand new soundtrack opens up with the inspired and upbeat “Island Life” by Atomic Drum Assembly which could very well serve as a highlight reel song. Bakar keeps the upbeat tempo going from there with “Big Dreams,” before the newer hip-hop track “Jackie Chan” kicks in from Bantu and Dr. Chaii.

More FIFA 19 Soundtrack Artists

Gambino contributes the mellow joint “Feels Like Summer” to give the soundtrack a relaxing vibe. His fellow hip-hop star J. Cole is on the Bas song “Tribe.” The new soundtrack also includes Death Cab for Cutie, Sia, Logic, and Sam Fender.

Gizmo Varillas, who is part of the remix of “Losing You” by Baio, tweeted about his excitement over the track’s inclusion. The collection of artists is one that will certainly keep fans excited or chill depending on which mode they want to be in when playing different aspects of FIFA 19.

There are a total of 29 tracks featured on the FIFA 19 soundtrack, with the playlist now available at Spotify. With the game just under a month, this will serve to continue building the anticipation. At the very least, gamers now have an exciting playlist to rock as they dream of highlight goals and saves.

The soundtrack also arrives with FIFA player ratings set to arrive any day now. Within the past week, a leak revealed the top six Premier League teams. That included a look at their FIFA 19 player ratings, but ratings for the rest of game’s players have not been released yet.

There are high expectations for the new game, as the previous title in the franchise received praise. Trusted Reviews and Polygon each awarded FIFA 18 a 9 out of 10 rating. The new FIFA 19 game officially arrives on multiple platforms on September 28, 2018.
