FIFA 19 Ultimate Team Tips: eMLS Series One Winner Doolsta Comments On Tournament-Winning Team

When it comes to winning those big FIFA 19 tournaments out there, having the right players on one’s FIFA Ultimate Team is what it’s all about. While a gamer might have all the skill in the world, they’re going to need some of the best players on the pitch to get things done. That was the case for the recent eMLS Series One Winner Cormac Dooley who spoke about exactly what his winning team consists of.

Dooley discusses his eMLS Series One FUT lineup

Cormac “Doolsta” Dooley is a member of the Philadelphia Union esports team and recently captured the eMLS tournament title. That was thanks to having an impressive lineup on the virtual pitch at his fingertips. That lineup helped Dooley defeat M3mito from the FC Dallas eSports club at eMLS Series One tournament in Los Angeles. M3mito was undefeated in winning the first-ever eMLS Cup.

As part of the rules for eMLS gamers need to include three Major League Soccer (MLS) stars in their lineup. Two of those three players must be from the club the gamer represents and they have to be on the virtual pitch for the duration of play. After that, gamers can have any players they want on their team and Doolsta had some impressive ones.

His lineup included multiple FIFA 19 Team of the Year representatives. There was Raphael Varane, Sergio Ramos, N’Golo Kante, and Kevin De Bruyne all of whom were on TOTY. However, a 99-rated TOTY Cristiano Ronaldo along with a Flashback Zlatan Ibrahimovic really helped create a strong lineup.

Also on Doolsta’s lineup were Eden Hazard, Borek Dockal, Ray Gaddis, Joao Cancelo, and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. When asked about who his Ultimate Team’s MVP was for the eMLS Series win, he gave it to none other than the game’s cover athlete Cristiano Ronaldo. Doolsta said Ronaldo scored a lot of goals during the tournament and some came in clutch moments of games.

Doolsta’s eMLS Series One FUT strategy

In terms of strategy, Doolsta mentioned a few key aspects of what he does. One of those is using the best formation for his play and that is the 4-1-2-1-2 narrow. Since Doolsta also relies on passing as part of his game, this formation helps out quite a bit. He said with that formation his midfield and backline had to be strong. Otherwise, the particular on-field set leaves a team vulnerable. In addition, Doolsta credited his passing in and around the box for being difficult for his opponents in the tournament.

At the end of it all, Dooley chose a lineup that really helped him get it done against his opponents, though. Those players mentioned are among the best-of-the-best in the sport and in the game. He called the big victory, “a dream come true to lift that trophy and it was even more special the fact that it is my first ever competitive title.”
