FIFA 20 Summer Showdown SBC: How to Get Phil Foden and Fabinho Cards in Ultimate Team
A new FIFA 20 Summer Showdown SBC is live in Ultimate Team ahead of an English Premier League battle. The latest in the lineup of Showdown battles will involve players representing Liverpool versus Manchester City. With that, gamers can complete a Squad Building Challenge for the two players and then get an upgraded card for the player on the winning team. Here’s how to get the new Phil Foden and Fabinho cards ahead of their match.
New Phil Foden and Fabinho cards in FUT
With Summer Heat 2020, EA’s FIFA is bringing player re-releases, fan voting, and Summer Showdown matchups. The latter involves dynamic player cards that get a ratings boost when a player’s team in the chosen matchup wins.
Manchester City CAM Phil Foden and Liverpool CDM Fabinho are the latest players involved in a FIFA 20 Summer Showdown SBC. Both players have 92 overall cards available now.
Foden has 92 Passing, 92 Dribbling, 90 Pace, and 87 Shooting for the new item. The Man. City star also has both four-star Skill Moves and Weak Foot.
Fabinho gets 95 Defense, 93 Physical, 92 Passing, 90 Dribbling, 87 Shooting, and 86 Pace. The Liverpool CDM also has three-star Weak Foot and Skill Moves. More detailed card attributes are available here at FUTHEAD.
Once the Manchester City and Liverpool matchup has been decided, whichever player is on the winning side will receive a three-points boost to their card. However, if it’s a draw, both players will get a one-point boost to their items.
The Manchester City vs. Liverpool matchup is slated for Thursday, July 2, starting at 3:15 p.m. Eastern Time. Based on current odds, from Odds Shark for the matchup, Man. City is the favorite at +100 with Liverpool FC at +230 and a draw priced at +275.
How to complete FIFA 20 Summer Showdown SBC
Each player has a new Squad Building Challenge available in Ultimate Team mode. By completing them, gamers can secure their items ahead of their Summer Showdown.
To complete Phil Foden SBC, you must build the following squads:
Bitter Rivalry – At least one Man. City player, Min. Team Rating of 83, Min. Team Chemistry of 80 (Reward: Jumbo Premium Gold Pack)
England – At least one England player, At least one TOTSSF, TOTW, or TOTW Moments player. Min. Team Rating of 84, Min. Team Chemistry of 75. (Reward: Prime Mixed Players Pack)
Based on cost estimates, the Phil Foden SBC will cost 153,500 Coins on PS4 or 162,150 Coins on Xbox One. Hunter (27 Percent) and Marksman (25 Percent) Chemistry Styles each have about as many votes from the FUTBIN community.
To complete the Fabinho SBC, build the following squads:
Bitter Rivalry – At least one player from Man. City or Liverpool. Min. Team Rating of 83, Min. Team Chemistry of 75. (Reward: Premium Mixed Players Pack)
Brazil – At least one Brazil player. At least one TOTSSF, TOTW, or TOTW Moments player. Min. Team Rating of 84. Min. Team Chemistry of 70. (Reward: Prime Electrum Players Pack)
Fabinho’s SBC has an estimated cost of 142,000 Coins on PS4 and 148,000 Coins on Xbox One. Community members have voted Engine (63 percent) as the best Chemistry Style for the card.
