Former Cover Star Michael Vick Returns for Madden 20 Ultimate Team

Michael Vick is coming back! The former Madden cover star is set for a big return to the Madden 20 Ultimate Team mode, giving gamers one of their favorite quarterbacks of all time. Here are the latest details for how Michael Vick will be a part of Madden 20, years after his retirement from the NFL.

Madden 20 Ultimate Team Adding MUT10 Michael Vick

Each and every Friday since two weeks ago, the Madden 20 Ultimate Team has unveiled a new star player as part of their 10th anniversary for the mode. We’ve already seen star players Bo Jackson and Patrick Willis added for MUT 10. On Friday, September 6, it will be the man known as a “cheat code” in the Madden 04′ game, Michael Vick.

Vick spent 14 years in the league, playing mostly for the Falcons for the first half of his career. He quickly became a superstar player and fan-favorite. Unfortunately, he ended up kicked out of the league for 2007 and 2008 due to violation of league personal conduct. Ultimately, he returned after serving time for his charges and played another five years for Philadelphia.

He finished out with stints for the Jets and Steelers with career numbers including 22,464 yards passing and 133 touchdowns. Vick also ran for 6,109 yards in his career and scored 36 TDs that way. He was a four-time Pro Bowler during his career, and a favorite for fans in the 2004 Madden game.

Vick will have a MUT10 Ultimate Team card arriving Friday for the game. While this one won’t be easy to come by, it will be available through packs and the Auction browser. That said, gamers will also be able to play a special Ultimate Team MUT10 challenge to earn the Michael Vick Power Up card. That will carry a lower rating than the card below, but still should be great to add as your team’s scrambling quarterback.

Vick joins Bo Jackson, Patrick Willis for MUT10

As seen above, that 92 OVR card brings a 92 Throw Power, 91 Throw on the Run, and 88 Speed amongst the top attributes. All of those will come in highly valuable for Madden 20 Ultimate Team rosters in need of a great scrambling quarterback. Vick fits the bill and should give even more athleticism to a lineup which might be relying on Russell Wilson, Baker Mayfield, or Legend Steve Young right now.

As mentioned, Madden 20 unveiled Raiders great Bo Jackson as their first MUT10 player card giving gamers a powerhouse halfback. They followed it up with a beast on defense with former San Francisco 49ers star Patrick Willis. Now, gamers can add a star quarterback as their third of the 10 MUT10 player items.

By collecting a special collectible token for all 10 MUT10 players, there’s also the ability to trade in that set for a special player item after 10 weeks.
