Fortnite Battle Royale: Season 6, Week 1 Challenges Guide

Fortnite Battle Royale season 6 is out and players can already to weekly challenges. Just like it was the case in the previous season, weekly challenges are separated into two categories. Free players get three challenges each week, while Battle Pass owners get all seven of them.

Completing all seven challenges rewards players with 50 Battle Stars and bonus Season XP. Additionally, players get a secret Battle Star for a free Battle Pass tier.

Season 6, Week 1 Challenges

Free challenges guide

The first Fortnite challenge requires players to pick up a Legendary item in three different matches. It rewards players with 5 Battle Stars and can be easily completed in the Soaring 50’s limited-time game mode. All you need to do is to simply pick up any Legendary item, and you will get progress towards the challenge.

The second challenge can also be completed easily as it requires Fortnite players to restore 150 health using Cozy Campfires. This task can also be easily completed in the Soaring 50’s mode, even in just one match.

Finally, players will be tasked with opening chests and supply drops in the last free challenge. This challenge will be separated in stages, which means that players will get a few Battle Stars after completing each stage. Once again, Soaring 50’s mode is your friend!

Season 6, Week 1 Challenges

Battle Pass challenges

The first premium challenge will be all about shields. Fortnite players will have to apply 500 shield points to successfully complete this task. While it is very hard to achieve this in a single game, it can be done easily and naturally over the course of a few games.

Season 6 has brought a new challenge that will require players to land at specific locations. This week, Junk Junction will be the stage 1 landing spot. It will be followed by Tomato Tempe and Tilted Towers.  You don’t have to land at these locations after jumping out of the bus, which is what makes this challenge so easy. It can be completed in a single match by using rifts, Launch Pads, or simply deploying gliders from a large height in the Soaring 50’s mode.

The third Battle Pass challenge will have players dancing under seven different spotlights. You can use the map below to see where these spotlights are located. Completing this challenge may be difficult in a single game, but it is very easy to do in two or three matches.

In the end, the final challenge will require Fortnite players to get five eliminations in named locations.

After completing all these challenges, players will unlock a special loading screen which reveals the location of the Week 1 Battle Star. The Battle Star can be found on a tractor in the ranch located east of Paradise Palms.
