Epic Games has added a lot of new files regarding the upcoming Fortnite live event in the game data. Several data miners have found these files and revealed the spoilers, including the map changes. Major Fortnite live event spoilers
The Fortnite developer has revealed that the upcoming event will start on Saturday, June 4 at 4 PM EST. Just like the previous events, this will be a one-time Fortnite live event and Epic advises players to record it as replays will not be available after it ends. This is most likely due to the fact that we will immediately go to Season 3 after the event.
One of the popular Fortnite leakers, Egyptian_Leaker, has revealed some major spoilers about the upcoming event on Twitter. The leaker has revealed a couple of characters who will have a dialogue during it, including The Paradigm. As many players are aware, this character has been gone for a while and it appears that The Seven are not on good terms with her anymore. However, she will return during the next Fortnite live event.
Besides her, we will get dialogues from The Origin, The Foundation, Dr. Slone, and from a “computer.” Considering that the Mecha robot will also be in the event, the computer could be a reference to it.
Map changes are coming with the event
The upcoming Fortnite live event will also bring some map changes! Epic Games has already added The Collider to the island, but this is just a start. According to the Twitter leaker, the game developer has added a new map texture to the game data, and this map will be used during the event.
As you can see in the image above, there is no water on the island. When Midas used the Doomsday Device back in Chapter 2, Season 2, it brought a massive flood. However, it appears that it is going to work in the opposite way this time.
